NextGen AstaXorb™ Astaxanthin Complex
NextGen AstaXorb™ Astaxanthin Complex is Terranova’s astaxanthin formula, built around AstaXorb™: astaxanthin-rich oleoresin from Haematococcus pluvialis algae in BioSNEDS™ self-emulsifying delivery technology. It also contains spirulina extract, Arctic pine bark extract (Fenoprolic®), lycopene from tomato and lutein from marigold flower. Alongside them is a MAGNIFOOD COMPLEX of stabilised rice bran, organic rose hips, and organic fresh freeze-dried sea buckthorn and aronia berries.
BioSNEDS™ is the self-emulsifying delivery technology behind the Terranova NextGen range. “Self-emulsifying” means the active ingredient is combined with carrier ingredients that let it mix evenly with water, rather than separating out. This is the principle behind delivery systems developed in pharmaceutical research. BioSNEDS™ uses it without synthetic polyethylene glycols, poloxamers or other chemicals widely used in pharmaceutical delivery systems. 100% vegan and 100% additive-free.
